Not so good

Pre-packaged, frozen food cooked like an 8th grade cooking class
 If I could give it zero stars I would. I've given Applebees 5 chances over [ ...More ] the last few years, all over the country, and EVERY time the food tasted freezer burnt, bland and uninteresting. The salads are okay - it's hard to mess that up. I've had the appetizer veggie pizza (slimy, no taste), several chicken dishes (all were rubbery)... I've given them all the money I plan to. I've also given them chance after chance - never again. If you're a foodie - or have a sophisticated palate - this is NOT the place for you.
If you drink, they have a daily happy hour... but the drinks are watered-down and have WAY too much ice.
If you read any of my other reviews I mention that I much prefer a local, mom-n-pop place. I do, in fact, enjoy several chain restaurants as well. This isn't one of them. They fit into the Bennigans/TGI Fridays/Ruby Tuesday group... a varied, but bland, menu.
If you're on the road and just have to stop and eat - and your choice is McDonalds or Applebees - choose McDonalds. [ ...Less ]

The main (and to my knowledge, only as [ ...More ] of now) vet there, David W. Saylor (stocky white male with glasses, approximately 70 years old), is by far the worst vet I've ever been to. He was extremely rough with the treatment of my dog, along with being very rude and obnoxious. He showed no sensitivity toward me or the condition of my dog whatsoever. At times he was downright belligerent; he snapped at me for asking simple questions (he was literally yelling at me at one point). He attempted to bully me into putting my dog under anesthesia to have her teeth cleaned, despite the fact that she was 15+ years old and in less than stellar health. He also charged me for several services without prompting me. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with.
I have learned from other vets in the area that this vet has an EXTREMELY negative reputation, and has caused several disgruntled customers to look elsewhere for the treatment of their pets. The parking lot of the clinic is usually empty these days, which should be a pretty good sign of how customers and their pets are treated there. If you value your pet's health and safety, DO NOT visit this vet. He is completely and totally incompetent. [ ...Less ]

 I never visited the original Winner's Circle, but when I went in March, it was AWESOME! Who [ ...More ] care's about service? It's not a restaurant, people ; it's a BAR! Ask for a drink, you get it; ask for the greatest wings in Florida, you get them; ask for great live music ; you get it! It's all there. It's pretty small, but it's fitting for a hometown kinda bar. I've never seen a fight break out there or a drunkard bothering anyone. It's a pretty nice place to hang out on a saturday night, whether you drink or not. [ ...Less ]
